Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theology
Prerequisite: A Master Degree is required.
The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theology requires 60 credit hours above the Master Degree. Taking 17 courses above the Master Degree and the completion of a Doctoral Dissertation will complete the credit hours.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biblical Studies
Prerequisite: A Master Degree is required.
The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biblical Studies requires 60 credit hours above the Master Degree. Taking 17 courses above the Master Degree and the completion of a Doctoral Dissertation will complete the credit hours.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Ministry

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biblical Counseling

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biblical Counseling requires 60 credit hours above the Master Degree. Taking 17 courses above the Master Degree and the completion of a Doctoral Dissertation will complete the credit hours.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Christian Apologetics
Prerequisite: A Master Degree is required.
The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biblical Counseling requires 60 credit hours above the Master Degree. Taking 17 courses above the Master Degree and the completion of a Doctoral Dissertation will complete the credit hours.

Guidelines for Dissertation Preparation
Doctoral Dissertation (9 credit hours)
Length: 40-60 pages typed (12-point font, double-spaced).
The Dissertation must exhibit originality and thoroughness of research and must be an exhaustive treatment of the subject chosen. The material should reflect the high quality of research and knowledge expected of a Doctor of Philosophy degree candidate.

Note: A published book by a candidate will be considered and used in the place of a dissertation providing it covers a subject within the field of study applied for. When a student enrolls in one of our Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program of study, he or she will receive all 17 courses at one time.
