“The Importance of a Good Name”

Proverbs 22:1(NKJV) reads, “A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, Loving favor rather than silver and gold.”

What is a good name? The word “name” speaks of character, conduct, the way in which one lives. It speaks of reputation. The word “good” which precedes the word name, gives the identification of the name. And when you put these two words together you get the definitions of being rich toward God and a life that is lived above reproach.

“The Importance of Biblical Education”

What is Biblical education? It is a constant diligent search of what God has to say on every subject. It is the heart beat of God. Biblical education is a heavenly education that changes lives forever. It converts prostitutes to women of virtue; pimps to men of honor. It sober up drunkards, delivers drug attics from addictions, heal broken hearts and mend marriages. It is the only education that produces victorious living.

Why is it so important? It is important because it is the right information that produces righteous thoughts, which produces right actions, that brings about the right kind of harvest. Obtaining a Biblical education is obtaining the mind of God. We must know how He thinks so that we can align our thinking accordingly. We must learn His ways so that we can walk in agreement with Him and therefore walk in His favor, having the blessing on our lives.

Biblical education produces an all-around successful life. Without it, life is unfruitful, empty, and void. We have to be like the Psalmist that said this in Psalm 119:97, “O how love I Your law! It is my meditation all the day.”

We must endlessly continue to receive Biblical training because the more training we receive and apply, the more we become like Him. Biblical education is an awesome thing, it has no ending. The knowledge, understanding, and wisdom of God are infinite. Therefore, we must continue to search and search until we utter our last breath.
