Taking 17 courses above the Master Degree and the completion of a Doctoral Dissertation will complete the credit hours.<\/p>\n<p><b>Guidelines for Dissertation Preparation<\/b><br \/>\nDoctoral Dissertation (9 credit hours)<br \/>\nLength: 40-60 pages typed (12-point font, double-spaced).<br \/>\nThe Dissertation must exhibit originality and thoroughness of research and must be an exhaustive treatment of the subject chosen. The material should reflect the high quality of research and knowledge expected of a Doctor of Philosophy degree candidate.<\/p>\n<p>Note: A published book by a candidate will be considered and used in the place of a dissertation providing it covers a subject within the field of study applied for.
